Calvin A. "Slug" Caldwell, Jr., passed at his home on February 13, 2016 at the age of 79. He leaves his wife of 58 years, Mary Patricia "Pat" as well as three children, Deborah Myers (Roscoe), Vincent Caldwell and Wayne Caldwell. He also leaves 4 grandchildren, Eric, Kyle, Justin and Joshua along with two great grandchildren, Dixie and Grace. He retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 27 years and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing blue grass and country music. Visitation will be at Forest Hill East on Whitten road on Wednesday, February 17 from 4 - 6 p.m. with service following. Burial will follow at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
