Carl C. Brewer, 96, of Hickory Valley, TN, patriarch of the family, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014. He was a retired self-employed painter, a member of Center Point Baptist Church and a big gardener. He was a dedicated and devoted child of the Lord. Mr. Brewer is survived by his son, Leon Brewer (Shirley) of Hickory Valley, TN; daughter, Gale Louise Newcomb of Greenbrier, AR; grandchildren, Stacy Dodson (Dustin), Casey and Mitchell Winters and Eric Jones, and the lights of his life, Issac, Aaron and Eva Rose. Services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home in Memphis, TN.
