October 4, 1942 – March 23, 2026
Carl Leo Feuchter, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on March 23, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl Francis and Marion Patricia Feuchter; his sister, Sandra Louise Warren; and his twin brother, Charles Leroy Feuchter.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years, Aleatha Sue Feuchter; his daughter, Brandie Michelle (Feuchter)Young, (Richard Harold Young); and his grandson, Zachary Treyvan Young. He also leaves his nephew, Charles Leroy Feuchter Jr.
Leo graduated from Oakhaven High School in 1962. He joined the Army in 1966, serving as a helicopter pilot until his honorable discharge in 1970. He joined the Memphis Fire Department as a private in 1971, attaining the rank of Driver and retiring with the rank of Captain after 33 years of service. In his off time he loved fishing and hunting, and telling tall tales about both.He was always ready with a joke or a story along with a smile for everyone. He was an active member of Providence Baptist Church until his health declined too much for him to attend.
