Carl R. White, "C.R.", passed in peace on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 91, surrounded by his family.  C.R. was born in Hazelhurst, MS on April 2, 1927.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Opal F. White; sons, David White (Agnes); Doug Follis (Frances); daughter, Linda Smith, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  C.R. was a professional truck driver for 47 years.   He served his country in the U.S. Navy.   Family and friends will gather to share memories from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, followed by services at 2:00 p.m.  Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown.
