Carla Henderson, age 71, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in Atoka, Tennessee, at the age of 71. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, Carla lived a life full of love, resilience, and devotion to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lavera and Joseph Slajer; her brothers, Gregory James Slajer and Gregory John Slajer; and her son, John Allen Henderson.

Carla leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in her surviving family:

• Daughter In Law: Mindi Smith Henderson of Covington, Tennessee
• Her Siblings: Rhonda Slajer, Marsha Morton, and Ameila Baughman (Steve)
• Her Cherished Grandchildren: Hannah Henderson, Jada Porter, Adley Henderson,
Grayson Moore, Jaxon Henderson, Mckenzie Henderson, and James Henderson
