Carol Sue Register, age 81, from Arlington, TN passed away November 27, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born July 1, 1943, in Houston, Texas where she graduated from the University of Houston in 1965. Carol later moved her family to Memphis, TN in the late 1970s. This is where she spent much of her career as a financial analyst for Hilton, Inc.
Carol was a loving mother, sister, and Gamma. She enjoyed cooking when she was able and finding recipes to share and tweak in her later years. Carol could always be found at any sporting event supporting her family and friends. She loved sharing various pictures of family, diamond art adventures, and nature with her daughters. Carol loved to read, watch gameshows, play games, and cheer on teams from the dining room table while sharing meals with her son.
Carol was preceded in death by parents Walter R. and Rachel L. Johnson of Hempstead, TX and brother-in-law William H. Folckemer of Cleveland, TX. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Michelle Beadles (Jerry) of Arley, Alabama, and Roxi Kellar (Chauncey) of Missouri Valley, Iowa; son Brian Rodney Register (Kelly) of Arlington, TN; sister Claudia Folckemer of Cleveland, TX. Carol also leaves behind grandchildren Gary and Blake Beadles, Braden Register, Casandra Zeisler, and great-granddaughter Sophia Zeisler.
Memorial services for Carol Register (Gamma) will be held Friday, January 31st. Services will be held @ The Refuge Church in Lakeland, TN. 9817 Huff N Puff Rd Lakeland TN 38002 Visitation from 3-4 pm Service begins @ 4 pm The family would love for anyone to join them afterwards for light refreshments and fellowship. with Pastor Scott Benjamin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spreading Sunshine. Spreading Sunshine is a nonprofit organization that provides practical, emotional, and spiritual support to families affected by childhood illnesses or special needs.. https://spreading-sunshine.org/07/
