Carol Rita Savage, 83 of Southaven, Mississippi, went home to Jesus on Thursday July 25, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Carol was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 1, 1940 to the late Jewel and Bernice Raines Wilson. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 30 years of service. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved the Lord, her family and her lighthouse collection.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Savage Sr, daughter Tracy Michelle Savage and parents, Jewel Wilson and Bernice Martin.

She is survived by three daughters, Renee McCoy (James), Tonya Lansdown, and Denise McCoy (David); one son, William E. Savage, Jr. (Cristy); nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly and will forever be in our hearts.

Services will be held July 31 at Forest Hill Chapel - East in Memphis. Visitation will be from 9-10am with the service to follow.
