Carol Howton Selby, 65, of Memphis, passed away on August 12, 2012. She was a retired tax examiner with the Internal Revenue Service and a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Selby is survived by her daughter, Cindy; son, Steve; fianc, Jim Freeman; sister, Barbara Gillis and seven grandchildren, Will, Derrian, Dalton, Chase, Haley, Jordan and Cameron. She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Howton. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 15 and service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, August 16 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. The family request memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
