Carolyn Burtcher Brown, 75, was called home on December 30, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She is preceeded in death by her parents, Edger and Evelyn Burtcher; a sister, Ethel; and a granddaughter, Dee Dee. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Brooks Brown; her children, Deborah Marks (Steve); Micky Brown; Marty Meredith; and Gail LeJeune; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Freeda Berry; and lots of nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, and a blessing to everyone she met. We love you, Mama. Visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, South from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30th. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m..
