Carolyn J Nicholson Feathers, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2024, with her family by her side.  She leaves behind five children, daughter Becky Head (Dale), daughter Connie Hopper (Kenny), daughter Judy Arnold (Terry), son Herbert Wade Feathers Jr (Felicia), daughter Vicki Garrison (Greg), along with ten grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  Carolyn was proceeded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Herbert W. Feathers Sr. her mother, Bernice Clement, her brother James Nicholson, and Grandmother Minnie Wolfe.

Carolyn retired from her job at Baptist Women's Hospital where she worked as a mother-baby nurse for over 20 years.  Everyone that knew her, fell genuinely in love with her gentle caring and loving spirit.  Her sweet nature was something you felt by just being around her.  She loved to sew and work in her flower garden.

Carolyn and Herbert were long time members of Southmoor Baptist Church and later became members of Longview Heights Baptist Church.  Carolyn gave her heart to Jesus at a young age and was very faithful in her service to Him.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Longview Height Baptist Church immediately followed by a celebration of life service.  Burial will be at Forest Hill South Cemetery on Holmes Road.  All family and friends are welcome to attend.
