Carolyn McGarvey Johnson, 94 of Bartlett, TN passed away peacefully on November 23, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Bill Johnson, Ken McGarvey, and son John McGarvey.

Carolyn leaves behind 5 children and 2 stepsons.  Ken McGarvey (Betty Sue) of Millington, Kathy Carpenter of Bartlett, Tina Brigham (Jerry) of Bartlett, Kevin McGarvey (Juanito) of Bartlett, Kelly McGarvey (Chris) of Mayfield, KY, Raymond Johnson (Liz) of Atoka, and Michael Johnson (Jeannie) of Arlington.   She also had 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

A devoted Catholic, she belonged to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic church and was a choir member.

Carolyn worked for 17 years as cafeteria manager at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School, all the kids loved her, and she was like a grandmother to them all.

She was a dedicated member of the DAV auxiliary holding many leadership positions and spent many hours volunteering at the VA Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the giver's choice.
