Carolyn Mason, 81, passed away on October 12, 2013. She leaves behind her husband, Budd "Rip" Mason; daughter, Rhonda Gatewood (Mike); granddaughter, Britnee Underwood (Rhett); and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Carson and Mason Underwood. She also leaves a sister, Beatrice Adair of Memphis. Carolyn passed away at home, due to complications from Alzheimer''s Disease with her husband and caregiver, John Little Bear, at her bedside. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer''s Association or the charity of the donor''s choice. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
