Carolyn Marie Runions, 80, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Carolyn was a woman of many talents, in which she was able to explore while working at First South Credit Union for 30 years. Carolyn loved the beauty and peace of being outdoors. She loved to camp and just sit outside. Aside from being outdoors, she enjoyed decorating her home every season. However, she loved nothing more than her family. She showered them with love and gifts, especially shopping for that great grandbaby.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Marion Brown; one daughter, Kathy Runions Sizemore; and a special fur baby, Maggie.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 61 years, George P. Runions; one daughter, Kelly (Frank) Bell; one sister, Anne Greene; three grandchildren, Rachel (Ford) Smith, Jake Bell and Josh (Meredith) Bell; and one great grandchild, Frances Kathryn Smith.
