Carolyn O. Schmidt, 77, passed away October 3, 2021. The widow of Carl Schmidt, she is survived by one son, John Timothy (Ashley) Schmidt; one daughter, Carol Stacks (Gary); (6) grandchildren, Tiffany Dabney (Steve), Dallas Schmidt, Caleb Mikula, Char Selph (Shane), Gary Stacks (April), Kyle Bounds (Maleka); 12 great grandchildren, Chris May, Eli Williams, Bryleigh Williams, Kelton Stacks, Austin and Emily Stacks, Makayla Selph, Madison Stacks, Brayen Turner, Gary Stacks, Kai Bounds, Aiden Bounds, and (2) great great grandchildren, Presley Stacks and Lennon Stacks, sister, Hazel Rushing, (3) brothers, Kerry James (Glenda), Lennon Stacks, and Robert James (Charlotte). She was preceded in death by her parents, Haze and Ione Minor James, and (1) brother, Wayne (Willean) James. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life 10:00 am-11:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, Thursday. Both at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown with burial to follow at Forest Hill South Cemetery.
