Catherine, 101, died February 7, 2016 at her daughter's home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Nesbit since moving to Nesbit in 1970 from Memphis. She was a life-long Christian and enjoyed her many friends from her Sunday school class. She was the Secretary/Treasurer of the U.S.Postal Service Credit Union before moving to the FAA Credit Union where she retired. She was a member of the Garden Club, and a nature lover who for many years kept a garden, canned, and supplied family and friends with produce. She was an avid reader, wonderful cook, and loved tending her flowers and yard. Her husband, Harry A. Sinclair, predeceased her in 1996; her son, Patrick H. Sinclair in 2010. Left to miss her are her daughter, Judy and her husband Jim Perkins, who were her caretakers, and three grandchildren, Todd Perkins of Memphis; Katie Sinclair of Austin, Texas; and Blake (Rossana) Perkins and their three children of Nesbit. Funeral visitation at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 11, with funeral following at 1:15 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Nesbit, 1645 Hwy 51 , Nesbit, Ms. 38651. Private burial service for family at Memorial Park Cemetery on Poplar. Memorials may be sent to her church.
