Cecil "Bubs" Ollar, 75, of Sevierville, TN went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. He was born on April 25, 1945 to his parents, Cecil Ollar and Evelyn Pauline Ollar in Carbondale, IL.

Cecil Ollar graduated in the Class of 1965 from Whitehaven High School in Memphis, TN.

After graduating, Cecil was married and raised his family in Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS.His love for the mountains and the desire to follow God's Will led him to retire from Fred's and move to Sevierville, TN in 2001. Cecil was an active member of New Salem Baptist Church and an integral part of the congregation. He was known to affectionately call his friends, Bub, and always asked, "How are you doing, Bub?", which in turn earned him the nickname, "Bubs" from the welcoming banter of friends. Cecil had a generous heart and found joy in helping others. His presence will be missed greatly by those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Ollar and Evelyn Pauline Ollar; his brother, Philip Eugene Ollar; and nephew, Gene Ollar.

Cecil is survived by his sons, Troy (Kim) Ollar of Collierville, TN, Paul Ollar of Southaven, MS; step-son, Ben Richardson, Jr. of Rockmart, GA; and step-daughters, Tracy (Ronnie) Chambers of Southaven, MS, and Dee (Mike) Lowrance of Lexington, TN; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 siblings, Bill Ollar (Charlotte), Jo Floyd (Ralph) and Jane Robertson; and  extended loving family members and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Gathering for family and friends at 10:00 A.M. and a Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M., May 8, 2021 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN.

Private service/committal service will be held 12:30 P.M. at Forest Hill Funeral Home South, 2545 Holmes Road, Memphis, TN
