Cham Ellis Babb, Jr., of Memphis, TN passed away, Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Born July 20, 1935 in Memphis. He was a Master Carpenter by trade, had a passion for animals which he raised and was known for his love of children. Mr. Babb was preceded in death by his parents, Cham E. Sr. and Ida M. Babb and his wife Charlotte N. Babb. He is survived by his daughter, Rose Sharon Babb; three sons: James R., Cham E. III "Eddy," and Donald M. Babb; his sister, Catherine M. Goldring; two brothers: Charles J. and James E. Babb; two grandsons: Cham E. IV, Benjamin H. Babb and granddaughter, Nichole Chambers; three great-granddaughters: Hannah, Skyler and Savannah Babb, and great-grandson, Aaron Babb. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 4 at Forest Hill South. Service will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 7 also at Forest Hill South.
