Charlene Davis Norvell, 88, was born on November 15, 1928 to Troy and Clara Davis in Dumas, MS, and passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Baptist Desoto Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and daughter, Jeanette Whitehead. She leaves behind her son, Jim Norvell; her daughter, Judy Willis (David); four granddaughters: Jennifer, Shannon, Candace and Brooke; and eight great-grandchildren. She was a member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church for over 60 years and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Charlene left a legacy of love for all who knew her. Family and friends will gather to share memories from 12-2 pm, Friday, May 26, 2017, followed by services at 2 pm, and burial immediately following. All will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-South.
