Charles Ambrose Bacigalupo, Jr., born October 24, 1927, 91 years old, of Memphis, Tennessee, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 5, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Bacigalupo, Sr. and Evelyn Mae Bacigalupo; wife, Emily Mitchell Bacigalupo; son, Charles Ambrose Bacigalupo, III; his daughter-in-law, Bettye Fox Bacigalupo; brother, George H. Wickham; and sister, Shirley Bacigalupo Barksdale.  He is survived by his son, Vincent Alan Bacigalupo, and daughter-in-law, Hilda Rosa Bacigalupo.  Mr. Bacigalupo served in the Army during the occupation of South Korea in 1947, after World War II and before the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of N. B. Forrest, Post 215 and the American Legion Post #One.  He was a graduate of Guthrie Elementary School, Humes High School, and the University of Memphis.  He retired from International Harvester Company after thirty five years.  He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Bartlett, Tennessee.  Services will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.  Visitation with his family will be on Thursday May 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. for one hour, with his funeral service following at 12:00 p.m.  Burial is to be at Forest Hill Cemetery, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133.  A lunch is being served at Faith Baptist Church after the burial.
