Charles C. "Peepo" Bennett, age 87, of Cordova, TN passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather who was very loved and will be greatly missed. Charlie worked at the Memphis Cap Company for 30 years before becoming and independent salesman with the Bee Hat Company until he retired. Charlie's ultimate gift was the ability to share and connect with people. He loved to share his wisdom, make you laugh and tell stories from the past. He also loved to tinker in the garage and watch his children and grandchildren play sports.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene "Meemo" Bennett. He is survived by his children Clark Bennett (Neica); Mark Bennett (Glenda); Brian Bennett (Shelly); Dena Bangma (Jeff); and Tim Bennett (Giovanna); grandchildren, Andrea Lowe (Brian), Eric Bennett, Justin Bennett (Danielle), Brandon Bennett (Katrina); Brittany Whiddon (Brian); Matthew Bennett (Cristal); Hunter Bennett (Mae); Heath Bennett, Enrique Bengochea, and Mariana Bengochea; great grandchildren, Zachary Lowe; Matthew Lowe; Lexi Kate Whiddon; Brenda Bennett; and Sarah Bennett; brothers Sam Bennett (Betty) and James Bennett; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and the Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, at 10:00 AM. His service will be officiated by Macon Road Baptist Church where he is a member. Charlie's charity of choice is Memphis Union Mission, P.O. Box 1938, Memphis, TN 38101.
