Charles Leon Brewer, 96, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022. He leaves behind one sister, Effie Turner and was preceded in death by his parents, Damon and Vinie Brewer; wife, Rubye (Hutsell) Brewer; one sister, Leola Tyler; and two brothers Carl Brewer and Marion Brewer.

Charles was a longtime and generous member of First Assembly Memphis and Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Although he was always dressed to the nines, he didn't mind getting his hands dirty gardening, working in his workshop or creating beautiful leaded glass lampshades. In his free time he loved to travel and experience new things. Charles went on several mission trips with First Assembly giving him a love for missions.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home Mausoleum 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
