Charles E. "Buck" Thomas, 79, of Memphis, passed away on April 21, 2016. He was a paratrooper in the US Army 101st Airborne and a builder for over 50 years and a talented artist. Mr. Thomas was a communicant at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was active in his community. Buck leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Linda; daughter, Janice; step-daughters, Pat, Tracie, Candyce; step-son, Jason; and adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12 p.m. Monday, April 25 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. Interment will be private. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
