Charles Malcolm Burlison, Sr. 83, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019. Mr. Burlison was a graduate of Byars-Hall High School in Covington, TN. He served in the US National Guard and retired from DuPont after 35 years. His favorite hobbies were gardening, fishing and billiards. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles I. and Josephine Fleming Burlison; one brother, Travis Burlison and one sister, Frances Hunter. Malcolm leaves his loving wife of over 55 years, Joy Burlison; three children: Chuck Burlison (Sheila) of Martin, TN, Greg Burlison of Nashville, TN and Dana Burlison Smith (David) of Lakeland, TN; 4 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; also one brother, James I. Burlison and one sister, Brenda Tollefsrud. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials are made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Bartlett Senior Center: 5727 Woodlawn, Bartlett, TN 38134.
