Charles M. "Chubby" Spradling, 82, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at his home in Olive Branch, MS. Mr. Spradling was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired after 30 years from the U.S. Postal Service and a bus driver for DeSoto County Schools. He was a member of Branch Assembly of God of Olive Branch and a proud Republican. His parents, Bennie E. and Effie Spradling preceded him in death, also two sons: Tony Spradling and Tommy Burke; one great-grandson, Sawyer Shell and eight siblings. Charles leaves his wife of 45 years, Rose Marie Spradling; two daughters: Rhonda Brown and Patty Burse (Brad); two sons: Billy Burke (Vickie) and Tim Burke (Dixie); 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 5p.m. Sunday, September 18 with service at 10 a.m. Monday both at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
