Obituary

Charles Samuel Crossman, age 89, returned home to his heavenly father Saturday,

April 4, 2020.  A Godly man; he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and

great-grandfather.

Charles was born September 4, 1930 to James Walter and Mary Ola Crossman.  He grew up in the church, his father being a Nazarene preacher.  Charles worked as a professional painter, but was also a skilled carpenter.

He had a strong faith in God, was a devoted family man, and with a beautiful tenor voice loved singing in the church choir.

Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years, Wanda J. Crossman (his sweetie pie), along with two sons: Ricky Crossman and Joe Crossman; three daughters: Vicki Lynn Robinson, Adrena Cornelius and Marena Carlisle. He also leaves two sisters: Glenda Robinson and Wanda Conley as well as 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his three brothers: James Crossman, Howard Crossman, Billy Crossman, and his grandson Dylan Carlisle.

Charles will be dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is now at peace with Jesus.

Charles will be laid to rest in a private ceremony, at Forest Hill Funeral Home and

Memorial Park, South.
