Charles Marion Davidson, 81, of Drummonds TN, passed away after complications from heart surgery on Friday August 17, 2018.  Charles was a US Air Force Veteran, stationed in Japan and Florida. Upon his return home, he worked at DuPont, and spent his career working as an industrial mechanic. Mr Davidson was a proud Eagle Scout with Order of the Arrow and Deacon and charter member at Gateway Baptist Church where he served on several mission trips.  Mr. Charlie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice Downs Davidson and their children and grandchildren: son, Mark Davidson and his children: Brittany Carwile, (her husband Doug and great-granddaughter Jolene), Heather Davidson, and Geoffrey Davidson; daughter: Melinda Wilbanks, (her husband Allen and their children: Hunter and McKell); son, Scott Davidson, (his wife Jennifer and their children: Tucker, Raelyn and Landry); Michelle Strickland, (her husband Kevin, and their daughter Sarah Beth).  Mr. Davidson is also survived by his sister, Velma Gifford and brother Jim Davidson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Carter and Jane McKnight Davidson from Trumann, AR and one sister, Mary Jane Johnson.  The viewing will be held on Monday, August 20th at Forest Hill Cemetery East, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133 from 5 to 7 pm .  The burial service will be on Tuesday, August 21 at 10:00 AM at Forest Hill East.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Gateway Baptist Church mission fund.
