Charles Robert Everhart was born June 3, 1938 to the late Arthur and Flossie Everhart of Coshocton, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1960 as a seaman, 2nd class. He was a resident of Memphis, TN since 1961 and owner of C.R. Everhart Insurance Agency for 43 years. He passed away June 10, 2017 in his home and leaves behind a beloved wife of 59 years, Sharon Maher Everhart; three children, Sheri McVeigh (Jim), Chuck Everhart (Carolyn), and Susanne Collier (Todd); four grandchildren, Kimberly Higney (Ken), Hank McVeigh (Heather), Heather Everhart, and Conner Collier; and one great grandchild, Xander McVeigh. Funeral services will be held at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
