Charles W. Grief, 90, of Bartlett, TN, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Methodist Hospice Residence. He was a retired millwright carpenter and a WWII Air Force Veteran. Mr. Grief was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Anne Barry Grief, and is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marie C. Grief; daughters, Donna (George) Hillebrand, Dianna Drost and Patsy Goodson; grandchildren; Jennifer Barry Faulkner (Steve), Jarrett G. Hillebrand (Casey), Anglia Herring, Brian Rye, Joshua Swain and Cody Swain; great-grandchildren Hannah, Jacob and Jack Faulkner, and Zane and Quinn Hillebrand, Tanner Rye, Brittani Handley and Patrick Barber and his brother, Bobby Grief. Mr. Grief was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Elvia Grief; brothers, James Grief and Roy Grief and his sister, Ravenell Grief Diehl. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held later in Paducah, KY.
