Charles Wallace Joyner, Sr.,Piperton, TN, was born in Tipton Co., TN on November 12, 1926 and passed away at home on January 4, 2016 at the age of 89 years. Mr. Joyner served in the Navy during WWII and is a retired veteran. He also retired from Firestone where he worked as a tire builder. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of close to 50 years, Joyce Joyner; and one son, C.J. Joyner. He is survived by his grandchildren, Julie Lisignoli of McKinleyville, CA (Mike) and Charles "Trey" Joyner, III of Arlington, TN; and by two sisters, Ann Love of Ash Flat, AR and Mary Eloise Lewis of Bartlett, TN. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 12 to 1 PM, with funeral services to immediately follow at 2 PM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road.
