Charles L. Thompson, of Memphis,Tennessee passed from this earth on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by Vernon and Josie Thompson and his wife of 64 years,Virginia Laverne Thompson,daughter Charlotte Annette Glover and grand daughter Diana Lynn Rowe.  He is survived by grandchildren, Terry Glover (Shawna), and Jeff Glover (Pam), all of Memphis,Tennessee. He also leaves seven great-grandchilldren.

Charles was full of cute sayings!  Our favorite was if anyone asked if he needed anything-"all he needed was a kind word".  He loved to eat, was a great plumber, was full of wisdom and always had a big smile on his face.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m at Forest Hill Memorial Park- East.
