Hernando - Charles Thurman McCormick, 86, and retired electronic engineer for the F.A.A., went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rodgers McCormick; daughters, Judy Armstrong of N. Augusta, SC, Anita Russell of Eupora, MS, Denise McGehee of Pontotoc, MS, and step-son Keith Rodgers of Collierville, TN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, followed by funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery at 2440 Whitten Road in Memphis.
