Charles Almus Penna of Nesbit, MS passed away March 3, 2026. He was 87 years old.
He was born in Jumpertown, MS in the home where his parents were share croppers.
Charles was extremely proud to be a member and past master of two Masonic lodges in Hernando and Horn Lake, MS. He was recognized as a member of over 50 years. Charles was honored to teach hundreds of men their degrees.

Charles was preceeded in death by his wife and love of his life Joyce McDonald Penna,  daughter Laura Penna Hartman and his parents Vance and Ruth Penna.

He leaves his daughter Linda Young (Jeff), Mark Penna (Raelyn) and Matthew Penna. Grandchildren Justin Hartman (Kari), Brian Young (Krissie), David Camp (Becky), Michael Penna, Adam Penna, Holly Mitchell (Ryne). Great Grandchildren Marshall Hartman, Grace Hartman, Alexandria Young,  Gabrielle Young, Sarah Camp, Rebekah Camp, Bentley Drewery. Peyton Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Hernando MS Masonic Lodge # 51.
