Charles Fay Ray, age 88, entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 13, 2026. Charles lived a life defined by steadfast faith, deep devotion to his family, service to his country, and faithful service to the Lord.

He was born on January 3, 1938, in Clifton, Tennessee, to Fred and Eva Battles Ray. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Frances Inman, Dorothy Richardson, Kenneth Ray, and Glenda Strickland.

He is survived by his devoted and beloved wife of 62 years, Florita Candida Ray. He was a loving and devoted dad to his daughters: Yolanda Margarita Jones (Biff Jones) and Vanessa Fay Massey (John Massey).

He was a cherished grandfather to Jerry Wayne Spencer, Jr. (Angela), Tammy Renee Jones (Greg), and Timothy Shawn Spencer, as well as treasured great-grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.

A faithful member of Bellevue Baptist Church for more than 40 years, Charles worshiped, served, and bore witness to Christ throughout his life. His legacy of faith, love, humility, and quiet strength will continue to bless generations.
