Charles Bernard Snipes was born on August 16, 1939 in New Albany, Mississippi to mother; Dorothy Marie Gordon-Snipes and dad; Charles Lester Snipes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Terri Joe Redman.

Charles was married to Dixie Nell (Waterbury) Snipes May 18, 1964 for 57 years (58 if you count the 10 months they dated).

Charles leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. Charles also leaves behind a sister; Ann Snipes Linker and a brother; David Lester Snipes.

Funeral Services are held by Forest Hill Funeral Home - East Chapel, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN at 2:00 PM on Thursday 9/9/2021. Visitation at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral service at 2:00 PM with interment at Forest Hill East Cemetery to follow after funeral services.
