Charles E. Tyner, "Grumpy" age 76, of Lexington, TN, passed away August 4 ^th , 2021, at Baptist East Hospital. He was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma B. Cell approximately three years ago due to being exposed to Agent Orange while serving in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was born January 6th, 1945, in Como, Mississippi to James and Elise Tyner. He was preceded in death by his parents and his only sibling, Lamar Tyner. He is a retired Lieutenant paramedic with the Memphis Fire Department and a retired flight nurse for the Hospital Wing. He also worked for Methodist Hospital North. Charles is survived by his soulmate and loving wife of 57 years, Sheryl Tyner, two daughters, Karen Tyner-Harrison (Dion) and Tiffany Tyner (David). Two grandchildren, Amanda Owen (Mark) and Shea Stokes. He also leaves one great grandchild, Paxton Charles.
