Charley Lee Edwards, Jr., 91, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2018 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford, MS.  He was born in Coffeeville, MS, on May 8, 1927.  He had been in the United States Army and was retired from the US Postal Service in Memphis, TN.  He was a resident of Memphis and Rosemark, TN for many years before moving to Olive Branch, MS.   He was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church of Olive Branch.  He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Rose Hill Edwards; two sons, Steve and Dwight Edwards; and his parents, Charlie Lee Edwards, Sr. and Donnie Edwards; four siblings, and one grandson.  Left to cherish his memory are his son, Roger (Vicki) Edwards and sister, Ruth Edwards Helton.  Mr. Edwards was blessed with seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.  Family has requested in lieu of flowers to send memorials to Longview Heights Baptist Church Olive Branch, MS or Love Worth Finding Ministries.  Visitation with family will be on Saturday, October 6, 2018, 9:30-10:30 a.m., with funeral service following at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road.  901-382-1000
