Charlie Frank Callins, 82, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Mr Callins was preceded in death by his son, Charles Anthony Callins. He is survived by Lourilla, his wife of 63 years; his daughters, Leanne Callins and Teresa Jacobs; son-in-law, Randy Jacobs; grandsons Cpl James 'Jake' Jacobs and Taylor Jacobs; granddaughter, Randi Marie Graham and her husband, Andrew; great granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Graham; brother, Joe Callins of Marked Tree, AR; sister, Emma Nell Pipes of Savannah, TN, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born in McNairy County, TN, to John and Naomi Callins, Charlie was the youngest brother of 14 siblings. He was a 32 degree mason and a member of the Al Chymia Shriners. Mr. Callins retired from Teamsters Local 984 in 1996 after serving 25 years as their president. Mr. Callins was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. "Poppie" will be sorely missed by his loved ones and friends, to whom he was completely devoted.

A visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Par, East , 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN July 9, 2016 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Funeral service will follow with Dr Barry Baker and Rev Danny Freeman officiating. Interment will be at the cemetery on the premises. If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gracewood Baptist Church, Southaven, MS, Restoration Fund.
