Charlie Walker Penick, 92, of Lake Cormorant, MS passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Baptist Hospital, DeSoto. Charlie was a U. S. Army Air Force WWII Veteran. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Eudora United Methodist Church. He was also a small business owner, a Policeman for the City of Memphis and he retired as a Mason Tender for Lynn Whitsett Corporation. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Penick; his parents, one sister and two brothers. He leaves three children: Lynda Doss of Horn Lake, MS, Brenda Pearson (Joseph) and Buddy Penick both of Memphis. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9th from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Forest Hill South with service immediately following.
Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
