Charlotte McIlvain of Germantown, TN left her earthly home on July 30, 2026 at the age of 83.

Charlotte was a woman grounded in faith that dedicated her time to using her gifts and spreading love. Charlotte enjoyed crafting and spending her time with the church quilting ministry. She also found joy in cheering on The Memphis State Tigers. However, she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandson and attending his many theatrical performances.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Geraldine Poindexter; her loving husband of 51 years, Thomas McIlvain; and two sons, Jeffrey and Greg McIlvain.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Linda Davis and Peggy Warren; her grandson, Benjamin McIlvain; her nephew, Chris Warren; her niece, Donna Davis; and her daughter-in-law, Jennifer McIlvain.
