Charlotte I. Ruppelt, 84, of Memphis, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hill South. Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill Irene Road. Mrs. Ruppelt was an industrial engineer for Dover and retired after 50 years. She was a member of the Republican Party and MSU Rebounders. Her husband, William E. Ruppelt, Jr., preceded her in death. She leaves her son, Boyd A. Ruppelt, Sr. and daughter-in-law Paula; two grandchildren, Boyd Ruppelt, Jr. (Samantha) and Chris Ruppelt; one brother, Buddy Icenberger; three sisters, Jacque Borelli, Mytie Mowrer and Barbara Ingram. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to: National Parks Conservation Association, Memphis Union Mission or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
