Christopher Lee Johnston of Atoka, Tennessee was born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 31st, 1960 to James Johnston and Cleota Anderson. His path took him to the United States Navy, which in turn took him around the world, and from which he retired in 1996. A man who valued self-reliance, he trained as a woodworker, welder, mechanic, locksmith, and other things over the years. He made many friends both state-side and overseas, and if he considered you his friend he would do anything for you. He passed away in Southaven, Mississippi on January, 13th, 2020 at age 59. He is survived by two daughters, Abigail Johnston Eaves of Tennessee and Elizabeth Johnston of New Mexico, and one grandchild, Lilly Anna Eaves of Tennessee.
