Christopher Matthews, 39, of Memphis, passed on September 6, 2015. He was a Navy veteran serving as Corpman from 2003 until he was honorably discharged in 2009 and also a member of Woodland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Matthews is survived by his parents, Glenda and Bill Sharp, and Arthur and Trina Matthews; brother, William (Brittney) Sharp; 3 nieces, a nephew and a great niece. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, September 13 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
