Christopher G. Paine of Memphis, passed away in his sleep and woke up with the Lord on November 3rd, 2016. He was born on September 30th, 1981 and was the son of Helen Denisce Paine and George Gordon Paine. He and his wife Amy Bell Paine married on September 10th, 2011. He graduated from White Station High School and recently obtained his A&P license to become an aircraft mechanic. In just 35 years, he managed to touch a lot of lives in his quiet and gentle way. You knew him as a man of genuine character. You witnessed the strong work ethic and determination that drove him to achieve significant goals. His easy smile, frequent laughter, and super dry sarcasm entertained you. As your friend, he made the world a better place. He clearly adored and cherished his wife Amy. He deeply loved his mom and his dad. He valued his friends and family and intently followed and rooted for the Memphis Tigers. Chris would want you to know that his life forever changed when as a boy he placed his faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord. May each of you live on with that same assurance and hope, grateful for the good gift that Chris has been to us all. Funeral arrangements are being held at Forest Hill East Funeral Home & Cemetery in Memphis. The viewing will be held on Tuesday November 8th, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. The ceremony and burial will take place on Wednesday November 9th, 2016 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Chris''s name to The Camp Good News Scholarship Fund.
