Christy Ann Beard Dapp of Byhalia, MS lost her battle with cancer on March 22, 2016. Christy was born in Memphis, and raised her family there until she found "her little piece of heaven" in Byhalia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine and brothers, Bobby and Steve. She leaves behind her loving husband Peter, of the home, her son Bill Winters (Dana), daughter Amy Winters, three grandchildren: Crystal, Brooke and Alanna; one great grandchild, Savannah, and brothers: Johnny, Bill and Joe. She also leaves behind her church family and her work family, which lifted her up throughout her struggles. She will also be missed by her furry companions Tom, Charlie Boy, Mo and Gilda. She will always be remembered for her strong character, larger than life personality, beautiful smile and her enduring love of God. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 12 Noon. Saturday, March 26 with service immediately following both at Barton United Methodist Church, 3229 Hwy 309 Byhalia, MS. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery, Jonesboro, AR.
