Clarence Graham Boyd, Jr., 85, of Memphis, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2013. He retired from Memphis Light Gas and Water. Mr. Boyd is survived by his loving wife, Martha McCoy Boyd; 7 children, Jimmy, Terry, Mark (Susan), Timothy (Penny), Stephen (Margaret), John (Lisa), Deborah (Joel); brother, Charles W. Boyd; sister, Mary A. Laird; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent to Memphis Union Mission or to Gideon''s International.
