On Friday, July 20, 2018, Clarence Bergan (CB) Crawford has passed away at 88 years of age.

A native Memphian and graduate of Treadwell High School and attended Memphis State University. A veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War, he retired as a Captain from the Memphis Police Department and as a Detective from the Veterans Administration Police. He loved his family, garden, and ratty old recliner.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Bettye, his grandchildren, Daniel (Jai) and Michael (Stefanie), and great grandchild, Connor.

He will be escorting his daughter, Shelia, to be with her youngest son Charles.

Visitation (Tuesday, July 24, 5p – 7p) and Services (Wednesday, July 25, 2p) will be held at Forest Hill East, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN.

Memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
