Clarence B. Johnson, Jr., 81 of Hernando, MS passed away September 9, 2022.

He was born November 28, 1940 in Memphis, TN to Clarence B. Johnson and Mary Emma Nelson. He graduated from Southside High School in 1959 and worked for Norwest Airlines, formerly Southern and Republic, for 36 years.

Clarence enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets, doing crossword puzzles from the newspaper, and landscaping projects at his home. He loved spending time with his family and they attend many holiday parties together.

He is survived by his children, Clarence Alan (Tina) Johnson, Michael Dwayne (Dawn) Johnson, Melinda Sue (Kelley) Truelove, and Mary Christine (Mike) Wioter; seven grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren; and siblings, Tina Louise Biasini, and Carolyn McCoy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Ann Quarles; his parents, Clarence and Mary Emma Johnson, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Ann Wilson, James Emmett Johnson.
