Clarence "Wayne" Stevens born February 10, 1945, departed from this life on January 12, 2020.  Mr. Stevens was 74 years of age. He leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Jean Stevens, two children, Annette Stevens Schulz and Tommy (Tina) Stevens, all of Burlison, TN  Three grandsons, Steven Schulz, Ryan Stevens, and Austin Stevens, two granddaughters, Samantha Jo Schulz and Peyton Stevens, one great-granddaughter Emmarie Sue Schulz. Also left to cherish his memory are two brothers, Don (Alice) Smith of Springfield, MO and Bobby Ellis of Trenton, MO, along with multiple nieces and nephews. Wayne was a 1963 graduate of Trenton High School in Trenton, MO. He retired in 2012 as "Fleet Manager" of Ozark Motor Lines. He was a member of the Gilt Edge Church of Christ. Wayne was known to be a "Jack of All Trades" and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed music, both listening and playing. He loved his '71 Buick Grand Sports Convertible car and enjoyed showing it off at car shows. Wayne's ultimate passion was to build a close-knit, loving family. He and Barbara devoted their lives to this goal. Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Stuart and his stepfather, Hershel Stuart both of  Trenton, MO  Visitation  with his family will  Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 5:00~7:00 pm with funeral service on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral  Home, East 901-382-1000
