Clasteen "Mamaw" Ritter Wardlaw, 89, of Southaven, Mississippi entered into eternal peace on February 1, 2015 surrounded by her sons and the love of her entire family. Born near Mantachie, Mississippi on August 2, 1925 she married the late Paul James Wardlaw, Sr. and lived the majority of her life in the Memphis and north Mississippi area. She was also awarded the THA Meritorious Service Award for her countless hours of service to others. Mamaw loved good coffee and cooking her fried chicken, homemade biscuits, muscadine jelly, and fried peach pies to share with family and friends. Her white hair and gracious smile would lighten any room and her hugs and kisses recognized no social, race or religious boundaries. Along with her husband Paul she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Paula Wardlaw Holliman. She is survived by her three sons Paul Jr. (Linda) Wardlaw and Dee (Janis) Wardlaw of Southaven, Mississippi and Van (Jan) Wardlaw of Chattanooga, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, and 14 great- grandchildren.
