Clatis Beatrice Graham Gresham, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away December 12, 2016. Beatrice (Bea) was born to John Walter and Josie Leona Graham, May 29th, 1920. She was a graduate of Myrtle High School. She married Troy W. Gresham July 2nd, 1938. They had two sons, Jerry Lamar and Lawrence Wayne (Larry) Gresham. Larry preceded his mother in death. While her sons were in school Beatrice started to work in the John Gaston, City of Memphis Hospital. She studied for two years and became the Medical Records Supervisor. Troy and Bea celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary June 28th, 2008. Troy passed away March 25th, 2009. She had four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was a member of Cherry Road Baptist Church. Her church family and all of her wonderful friends and relatives from Myrtle, Lamar Heights Baptist Church, Hickory Ridge Baptist Church, and any others who touched her life are invited to celebrate her life December 15, 2016 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Written Road. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m., with the funeral at 2 p.m. Instead of flowers please make a donation in her name to Cherry Road Baptist Church.
